FOOTBALL Here's your Pick of the Pole on the Super bowl. DOUBLE PLAY:  San Francisco on the money line to win the game straight out (Don't take the 1 or 1 1/2 points being offered)                                                         I also "lean" to the OVER 54 1/2 PROP  BETS: This game has literally hundreds of prop bets. Here are a handful of my favorites: ---Take UNDER in the total interceptions in the game with the number set at 1 1/2. This number seems artificially low so lets go "contrarian" and take the UNDER ---Take Jimmy Garappolo to have OVER 18 1/2 completions. SF coach Kyle Shanahan is one of the outstanding thinkers in the league and I expect him to use lots of play action against a KC team stacked to stop the run. Garappolo, as he showed versus a stout New Orleans team, is very comfortable in "shootout" types of games also. So lets  go with Jimmy G "slinging it around" a bit. ---I really like two rookies playing in this game. SF WR Deebo Samuel and KC WR Mecole Hardman seem likie "big stage" types who will flourish in a setting like the Super Bowl. So lets take Samuel to go "OVER in receiving yards (54 1/2) and rushing yards (17 1/2) and Hardman OVER 26 1/2 receiving yards and OVER on his longest reception (15 1/2) ---Again I'll bring up Shanahan's creative mind and take SF FB Kyle Juszczyk to go OVER 9 1/2 receiving yards. He gets almost ignored at times but I look for Shanahan to pull this rabbit out of his hatat some point. ---Finally, while neither of these teams gets blown out (In their seven combined losses they have never been beaten by more than 7 points), there is a long term history in this game of unexpected blow outs. So, while favoring SF, Vegas has offered an outstanding +375 return on a wager where the 49ers would win by more than 10 1/2 points. This seems a fairly attractive possibility being offered very nice odds. Good luck. Be careful. Have a terrific game. And know that  there's every chance that a basketball game being played on Sunday afternoon might very well be a better wagering possibility than the Super Bowl.
